Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Skardu

   Airport pickup, Kharpocho viewpoint over the Indus, easy bazaar walk.

2. Day 2

   Shangrila & Kachura

   Lower Kachura (Shangrila) and the turquoise Upper Kachura lake.

3. Day 3

   Shigar Valley

   Shigar Fort, Amburiq mosque and the apricot orchards of Baltistan.

4. Day 4

   Cold desert

   Manthoka Falls and sunset over the Sarfaranga dunes.

5. Day 5

   Departure

   Skardu to Islamabad by air, or the KKH drive south.
