K2 Base Camp & Concordia Trek

The great trek: Askole, the Baltoro Glacier, Concordia, K2 base camp, with the Gondogoro La as an option.

Itinerary

1. Day 1–3

   Skardu & Askole

   Briefing, acclimatisation and the jeep road to the trailhead.

2. Day 4–8

   Baltoro

   Jhola, Paiyu, Khoburtse, Urdukas and Goro II.

3. Day 9

   Concordia

   Camp beneath four eight-thousanders.

4. Day 10

   K2 base camp

   Day walk to the Gilkey memorial and back.

5. Day 11–18

   Return

   Gondogoro La crossing or the Baltoro back to Askole and Skardu.
